Recap of Nature snaps

Browsing through pic collections really brings back memories. I realized that i have a number of great nature pics scattered around.

Rathnapura is my village place, where i was born.. city of gems as the name says.. although now the house there is inaccessible, the memories are all too fresh. I've always been a fan of Green and its true that it helps you relax. Ratnapura is green and wet most of the year.

This one day i wanned to capture some sights that caught my eye.. i was walking allover the place with a cam. Outcome was a lot of Megabytes of colour.. here are a few of the best..

Then i came across this pics of another wonderful place called Gilimale.. There's this place an old couple has bought to spend their retirement... who happen to be our relatives and have a great taste for nature. It was a day at a small house on top of a hill with tea plantations below and blue mountain ranges as far as the eye could see.. yes only poetry would best describe the feeling. Even the shadows upon the rocks, grass that would seem ordinary elsewhere makes up shapes that adds to the surrounding.. One could spend the whole day staring at basically nothing and feel wholesome.

Then there happed to be a waterway where we could bathe. There was a formation of a pond and right above was a small waterfall.. The natural setting was perfect for spending hours in the water. Reminds me how many more of such places there are in Sri Lanka hidden from the all but a few. Shown below are a few that has some artistic value to it..
