HOT springs

Finally... some pics to upload! Final semester in campus and photos were not coming in as easily.. people sticking to their own work and whenever i suggest going somewhere they think i'm so jobless and i'm trying to drag them with me and waste their precious time.. well it's not quite untrue in a way. another popular claim is that i'm trying to make up for things i didn't do for 3 years. well i'm quite satisfied with the places i've travelled to and things i've been a part of. A bunch of good memories all-together.

Well coming back to NOW, it's this trip to some natural hot springs in malaysia that recorded some fresh photons on the CCD.. (in other words, i got to get some pics after a while).
This place is called "tambun hot spring" (thanks alot PQ for educating me on this...).

I've been to some hot water wells in Sri lanka before which was in Trincomalee which is a war zone right now.. i managed to sneak in to that place when the peace process was in motion. those were small tanks from which we could take water out and bathe.

This place in Perak malaysia was similar but was well arranged to make it a tourist attraction. they've made the water flow such that they are collected in big pools for people to enjoy.

This pic below was named the "wash basin of the king" or something similar. although i didn't dare even to put my foot in their looking at the smoking hot water in there.. the king must've been faceless after a major face injury and killed the guy who found this place..
The fountain visible on the above pic is this one made more colourful. It was taken in the morning thus the rays of sunlight were visible cutting through the steamy mist. this served as a sterilizing means after coming from the washroom, hehe.. well if you don't have soap that is..

Some of the pools were meant for egg boiling.. but we managed to get our legs in there as well (escaped with a half boiled leg)
The barbecue grill glows in broad daylight!... not really, this was some overlay layer in photoshop that made the old charcoal look red. oh by the way.. this was from LALA.. alot of tribute to lala!
Hmm.. some unknown fruit...
The chinese have this glowing yellow skins as i have exaggerated alot here.. hehe, nevertheless they seem to complain "we need to get fairer".. i'm like.. what the hell are we supposed to get..
This Oman guy with red hair was attracting some attention.. even lala's..
I thought the black and red says something about this pic.. well it's up to you to find out. i'm not so good at expressing feelings.

Red head kept me wondering what colour would look good on me... *#&!$#&%
don't expect anything soon >

Night time was a time to try out some... well... Night time photography! ( surprised? what did you expect..)
Had to use highest exposure to capture most of the light n needed the cam to be steady.. There's some alien like feeling to this pic

This was taken by LALA (tribute to him again! ) by the way today lala is leaving to singapore.. to start a new career in ART. best wishes to him, somehow we made a good team when it came to art work although it wasn't much. I just know that he'll become a big shot someday..
I was posing for this one and to add to the value.... if we were late another minute, the back light would have been turned off, and this may never have been taken!
ooooo.. now, isn't that something..
Finally it was time to splash some water and throw some people overboard.. Haven't you heard that water generates blissfulness?

Gladly.. more trips coming up! places to go, things to do..
