Last Holiday

Isn't this the best time to start a blog.. it's the holidays and i've waited till the last week. I'm surprised that i actually managed to stop many from spending their free time at home and go with me a few places.
Holidays in Sri Lanka are hot as always.. but the feeling of being home makes up for everything.
Nuwaraeliya on the otherhand is a COOL place, also known as Little England! it was about a week back that 5 old friends set out on a trip there and most unexpectedly everything went fine.. I can't recall how many times i've tried to get all these people to actually get out of their houses to go somewhere i like..

Here we go, I've named this "Album cover" as in a music album photo hehe.. everyone seemed to mind their own business.


come to think of it.. i may not post the actual pictures at all in this blog.. a photo should not be about reality (as long as you're not a reporter). Isn't the wonder if digital photography, being able for you to show what you want and not necessarily what you see?

just to add some info, this was in a park in Nuwaraeliya town.

The first day was all walking around.. the park, the race course (horse races), some lake and of course the cold breeze which as darkness fell became quite unbearable.

This green scene is also from the park in town. I had this scene in my mind when i saw this view. not so green at first view though.. well here it is looking heavenly.

Flowers seem to grow out of nothing at that place.


The lush vegitation. I've put some glowing effect on this one though, and ofcourse made it greener.


Again some flowers from the park. Some glow of the brighter areas again and some colour variation.


I'm waiting for the rest of the pics. my camera ran outof power the first day and i didn't take the charger. rest of the pics were taken from a better Cybershot W30. got some work to do when i get those pics tomorrow.

well then, first blog doesn't seem so bad does it.. let's see, if this'll become a collection of some memorable pics.
